Seeing that fashion week is a time for innovation and reinvention, E decided to create a look inspired by the 1950s era (Think Mad Men). The 50s drew significant influence from Parisian couture runways and mixed it with bold, ladylike elegance. Arguably the staple from this fashion-forward era would be a waist-accentuating A-line dress. Flirtatious, feminine, and fun, it exuded a definite feeling of sophistication, and it was exactly this type of shape that inspired E’s fashion week look.

Luckily, she discovered a beautiful red, vintage coat in her mom’s closet to serve as the centerpiece of the look. Because of the cinched waist and the classic red and black color palette, she incorporated modern accessories that came together to emit a vintage feel. Black leather gloves and a feminine black wristlet were essential in creating a retro vibe. And possibly, our favorite detail was the addition of a scarf scrunched in a bold and brilliant design. The outfit was ideal for attending the Issey Miyake show, whose designs are known to transcend time.

Fashion Week es un tiempo de innovación y reinvención y por ello E decidió crear para la ocasión un look inspirado por los años 50 (tipo Mad Men). En los 50 hubo una gran influencia de la Haute Couture Parisina para los looks de todos los días y una de las tendencias más importantes fueron los vestidos ceñidos a la cintura y con mucho vuelo. Ese tipo de silueta  femenina, divertida y coqueta fue el punto de partida de E al elegir su atuendo.

Encontró un abrigo en el armario de su madre que era perfecto y decidió convertirlo en el centro del look. Para terminar, incorporó accesorios en negro para evocar ese aire vintage: guantes de cuero y un bolso de mano. Tras hacer unas cuantas fotos en Tuileries, E tuvo a suerte de poder asistir al desfile de Issey Miyake, famoso por su diseños que transcienden el paso del tiempo.
