Looking back on 2012, we have to admit that is has been one of the best years of our lives. We moved to a new country, met wonderful lifelong friends, traveled the Mediterranean, started this blog, learned photography, and got intro ridiculous situations on a daily basis. With the passing of 2012, we take out a blank book and hope to write 365 exciting pages filled with even more fulfilling adventures. Our lives will be filled with new chapters ranging from graduating university or moving to another continent for a project, and we cannot be more excited and grateful. Already, we are so lucky to have started the New Year by being featured in Links à la Mode by Independent Fashion Bloggers.

Other thank that, A will move back to Paris to begin a six-month internship program so we thought it would be a great opportunity to incorporate something new into our blog: some “working girl” outfits. We begin by using basics such as a classic black dress with black tights. To incorporate more style into the look, a cute slightly fringed blazer can be secret weapon. For a more youthful feel, you can even add some bright and bold pieces, such as a red chunky necklace and handbag. The finished product shows that you do not have to sacrifice style or individuality to fit in at the office.

Recordando este 2012, nos damos cuenta de que ha sido uno de los mejores de nuestras vidas. Nos mudamos a un país nuevo, hicimos nuevos amigos que probablemente mantengamos toda la vida, viajamos por el Mediterráneo, empezamos el blog, aprendimos algo de fotografía y vivimos mil aventuras cada día. Al empezar el año abrimos un cuaderno en blanco y esperamos escribir 365 maravillosas páginas. Nos esperan nuevos capítulos y mucha incertidumbre, dos de nosotras nos graduamos en unos meses y M va a mudarse a un nuevo continente. No podríamos estar más ilusionadas y agradecidas a todos los que nos acompañan y ayudan en nuestro camino. Nuestro 2013 ha empezado genial, ya que hemos sido elegidas por segunda vez como parte de Links à la Mode de esta semana, por Independent Fashion Bloggers.

La semana que viene A se muda otra vez a París para comenzar unas prácticas de seis meses y pensamos que era una buena ocasión para presentar uno de sus looks de trabajo. Así que aquí tenéis a nuestra working girl luciendo un vestido negro sencillo complementado con accesorios juveniles y coloridos para salir de lo aburrido y transformar un atuendo clásico en algo más especial.
